FRUSTRATED at the sexual demands made on him by a neighbouring tenant, Michael Walton smashed a mirror in their shared bathroom."He was upset about her behaviour - she knocked on his door every day, she wanted sex from him at 7 o'clock in the morning," solicitor John Clarke told Fenland magistrates on Tuesday. "He got very upset about this, and in his frustration he broke the mirror by banging it."A self-confessed alcoholic, Walton, 25, of Tinkers Drove, Wisbech, admitted smashing the window at his previous bedsit in Norwich Road, Wisbech. The damage was caused on the afternoon of February 5, said prosecutor Nicola Ebbs. Walton was a tenant of Terry Cox, who traded as TC Lettings of Wisbech."Another resident heard the defendant banging around and then head a smashing noise come from the bathroom, and saw the mirror was smashed," said Miss Ebbs. "She saw Walton sitting in the kitchen. He was drunk and had a cut to his hand." Mitigating, Mr Clarke said Walton had been drunk at the time, and was already subject to an alcohol treatment programme as part of a community order."He lived in a bedsit with a communal bathroom, and had been upset by a lady banging on his door and bothering him. "He says she did not look after her child properly, so there was aggravation between two people in bedsits, who share a bathroom. This had really upset my client over a period of weeks."Walton told magistrates: "I am ready to go into Peterborough Hospital for detox. My alcohol problem is being dealt with."The case was adjourned for a week and he was given conditional bail.
