A SHOE shop put its best foot forward to raise money for cancer sufferers.

Josef Seibel Footwear Outlet, on March’s Meadowland Retail Park, held a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Staff put on a cake stall and held a prize draw to raise a grand total of £57.29 for the charity at the event on Saturday, June 26.

Manager Sue Stevens said the event was also designed as a “thank you” to customers who have supported the store since it opened in March this year and battled against the current economic climate.

First prize in the draw was a large hamper, which was won by Debbie Curry from Wisbech. The runner-up prize was a smaller hamper.
