A SONGS of Praise service in the Methodist Church was conducted by the Rev Denise Haigh. Theme was Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord and the evening consisted of hymns and taped music. Lessons were read by the Rev Neil Harper of Leicester. Prayers were led by the Rev Haigh. Words were projected on to the screen operated by Debra Church. Steward was Joan Cousins and the organist was Doreen Diggle. On the Sunday morning members attended the united service at the Parish Church conducted by the Rev Michael Tucker. Steward was Glynis Russell and the music was organised by Christine Knott.
