A SONGS of Praise service was held in the Methodist Church, conducted by Stevie Brooks of Tilney All Saints (licensed lay minister), who read lessons and gave a three part address on "Love". The singing was led by the St James, Marshland, Music Group, namely, Joan Thompson (piano), Pauline Beeken (organ), Roger Dack (guitar) and Graham Beeken (euphonium). Prayers were led by Mrs Brooks with responses sung by Isobel Peters. Steward was Abigail Peters. The following Sunday members attended the united service at the Parish Church conducted by the Rev John Penny. Lessons were read by Daphne Askew, the Rev Penny and Tim Clayton who was also the steward. Music was organised by Christine Knott.
