A GROUP had their sound equipment confiscated by police after playing loud music in March.

Officers received reports of a noise disturbance at West End Park at 11.48am on Saturday (August 11).

When they arrived they found a small gathering of people but no tunes being played, so asked the group to move on.

They were called to Badgeney Road at 8.25pm and again found a small gathering of people, this time with music playing.

“Officers seized the sound equipment, two people were given cannabis warnings and one person was fined for possession of cannabis,” a police spokesman said.
