An acclaimed team of handbell ringers will be appearing at St Wendreda's Church, March, tomorrow (Saturday) to raise money for the rebuilding of the church room.

The Bellfolk Handbell Ringers, of Honingham, Norfolk, are a popular group of 14 ringers with 40 handbells specially tuned to concert pitch and comprising three chromatic octaves.

The group, pictured, will begin their performance at 7pm and there will be recitals of familiar classical pieces as well as show-stopping popular modern music.

Many of the team have gained experience from working with internationally recognised conductors both in the UK and overseas.

The Bellfolk have an advisory educational programme for anyone who is thinking of taking up handbell ringing.

Admission at the church door is £5 for adults and £3 for children.
