A SPATE of criminal damage to vehicles has taken place in Grosvenor Road, Wisbech., and police are appealing for information from the public.

A windscreen wiper was ripped from a green Vauxhall Vectra in Grosvenor Road between 10.30pm on Saturday, January 5, and 9.30am next day.

PCSO Lee Walker said: "The damage appears to be taking place in the hours of darkness to vehicles parked along the road.

"I would like residents to be alert to this and please call police if you spot anything suspicious. If you see the damage taking place, please call 999."
