THORNEY Rugby Union players will have a once in a lifetime chance to train with a rugby legend, when Shaun Edwards OBE visits the club this evening.
Now Head Coach of the London Wasps, Edwards enjoyed a very successful rugby league career as a player, representing England and Great Britain.
The rugby legend is to take charge of a one-off training session at Thorney Rugby Club, on Crowland Road, this evening (Tuesday September 21), starting at 7pm.
After the session, Edwards will enjoy a drink at the club and answer questions from players and fans.
Thorney RUFC won the training session through a competition held by the UK’s leading online supplier of sporting first aid kits, Firstaid4sport.
