Students sporting achievements were recognised at Neale-Wade Academy’s sports awards evening.
Certificates and badges were handed out in recognition of the students’ talents across a host of sports.
The team of the year prize when to the under 16 badminton boys squad, who were crowned county champions, with other awards going to Olivia Wheatley (most potential in key stage 3 football, and Hana Howsam, for her contribution to sport over the last five years.
Paige Harris also received a special award. She claimed the outstanding performance in sport award for her efforts in capturing the International ‘G Force’ Kickboxing title this year.
A Neale-Wade spokesman said: “The evening was an outstanding success, attended by over 270 people and featured a number of routines by dance students at the academy.”
