A 20 year-old has been sentenced to 150 hours supervised work and fined £240 for possession with intent to supply cannabis.

Ryan Cook, 20 of Trinity Road, St. Johns Fen End, pleaded guilty to the offence at Norwich Crown Court on Monday.

Cook was arrested during a drugs raid at a property on Dobby Drive in King’s Lynn on May 3 last year.

A quantity of cannabis was found at the address as well as drug related paraphernalia.

Two other men, who were arrested during the same raid, also pleaded guilty to drugs offences.

Paul Cook, 37 of Sir Lewis Street, King’s Lynn, was sentenced to 16 month imprisonment for possession with intent to supply cannabis. Luther Barratt, 18 of Smith Avenue, King’s Lynn, pleaded guilty to being concerned in making of an offer to supply to cannabis and was sentenced to nine months in a young offenders institution.

Chief Inspector David Buckley said: “We will continue to tackle drug dealing within our community and take serious action against those involved in this kind of criminal activity.”
