PLANS are well in hand for a flower festival to be held from September 9 to 11. Unfortunately this event usually held every other year in St Mary’s Church will, because of the devastating fire, have to be held elsewhere; and our friends at St Peter’s have offered the use of their church.
PLANS are well in hand for a flower festival to be held from September 9 to 11. Unfortunately this event usually held every other year in St Mary’s Church will, because of the devastating fire, have to be held elsewhere; and our friends at St Peter’s have offered the use of their church. So the festival, celebrating the World at Work, will take place and already people have come forward to arrange flowers, sell raffle tickets, make meals, steward the church, play music, etc. There is always room for others to take part, so if you would like to have a go at any of the things listed, please contact Pat Quince on 01354 563761 or the Rector, Rev Anthony Chandler or assistant priest, Re Jenny Webb.
