A GOOD congregation braved the stormy weather on Sunday afternoon, for the harvest service, conducted by the Rev Sheila Tooke.

The singing was led by an extended choir, trained by Joan Glover who also played the organ for the service. Lessons were read by Evelyn Williams.

On Monday 44 people and guests, together with Stephen and Sheila Tooke, enjoyed a beautiful supper, prepared and served by Gill Hall and her helpers.

Together with a raffle and the sale of the produce £321 was raised, of which £150 will be donated to 'Water Aid'.
