Staff will be put in the stocks to raise money for residents of Fenland care home

MEMBERS of a Fenland care home’s management team will be put in the stocks on Saturday to raise money for residents at a summer fete.

Glennfield Care Home, in Money Bank, Wisbech, is holding the event to raise money for its residents comfort fund which allows staff to take more people on outings.

Members of the public can throw wet sponges at a number of staff with additional entertainment being supplied by Mal Sargeant on the day - which is set to run from 2-4pm.

There will also be a car boot sale as well as stalls, cakes, a raffle, crafts, refreshments, children’s table games, face painting and a tombola to raise further funds.
