FENLAND’S star performers have been handed another opportunity to dazzle crowds in this year’s Wisbech has Talent competition.
Entrants are being sought for the talent contest, which takes place next Friday (August 19) at the Oasis Centre, in Wisbech.
The show - which had to be cancelled last year due to a lack of performers - is free to watch and everyone who enters will bag a prize. Prizes donated by Tesco will be awarded to the top three.
Centre manager Chris Stevens described the show as “good old-fashioned holiday fun” and urged acts to showcase their skills.
She assured entrants that judges would not be “making comments on performances in front of everyone”.
Doors open at 1pm for the event, with performers taking to the stage at 1:30pm. Anyone interested in entering should collect a form from the Oasis Centre. Rehearsals are on Wednesday from 1pm.
