Children at the Anthony Curton Church School delighted parents and carers with their wonderful performances of the traditional nativity story.
Mary and Joseph, Nikita Hammond and Tristan Mattless, in Reception Class, managed the long journey to Bethlehem with the help of the patient donkey, Kieran Mills.
The shepherds and three wise men put in an appearance, and the angels sang perfectly to welcome the new born king.
After a raffle and short break, children in Years 1 and 2 performed their version of the story β supported by a band of narrators, twinkling stars and an enthusiastic choir.
Mrs Anne Senior, head teacher, said: βThe children showed amazing confidence and stamina performing 4 times over the course of the week.β
