KARTING stars posed with their silverware after Wisbech and District Kart Racing Club celebrated a successful season at their presentation night.
A host of racers filled Stowbridge Village Hall, in King’s Lynn, for the event, which saw the grass champions given their prizes.
The trophies were presented by the club’s departing chairman Andy Golding and the new chairman Andy Huggins.
Among the big winners was Craig Jackson, who won the 125cc four stroke seniors category and finished runner-up in the 250cc two stroke - beaten by Ian Laws.
Henry Laws was 70cc champion, Ben Ward took the 90cc crown and Luke Manders shrugged off the challenge of March racer Harry Hensby to take the 125cc four stroke juniors title.
Kevin Jackson won the 250cc four stroke while Steven Gardner won the 125cc two stroke.
The 2012 kart racing season will begin with the first winter meeting, which will take place at the Norfolk Arena, in King’s Lynn, on January 29.
