MYSTERY surrounds who will switch on this year's March Christmas lights - and for a very good reason.
For the town council has decided to launch a competition to select someone to perform the ceremony.
The honour will go to the person whose name is chosen at random after paying £1 to enter a competition.
You can get an entry form from the Cambs Times office or March Town Hall.
"The actual prize will be tailored to the age and sex of the lucky winner, but will include meeting the mayor and Father Christmas and being guest of honour at the town hall," said town clerk Clive Lemmon.
