A CAR stolen in March has been used by a gang in a raid on a garage in Bedfordshire.
Police were alerted by a member of the public at 1.26am when about five men were spotted breaking into the ATM using oxy-acetylene cutting equipment. The gang struck at Potton Service Station on Biggleswade Road, emptying the machine of cash.
The gang members, all dressed in dark clothing and balaclavas, left the scene in a green Subaru estate car which had been stolen from the March area the previous day. This vehicle was found shortly after by police in Church Road, Tempsford.
