THE May meeting of the WI was opened by president Nad Stoker and as there was no speaker a discussion took place prior to voting on the resolutions which were read out by Anne Wall. This was followed by a buffet supper served by the committee.

A sale table and a raffle were well attended and the evening concluded with a quiz.

Results of the competition for 'any craft item made this year' were: Anne Wall 10.Val Bedford nine, Val Stacey, Gill Hall and Audrey Goodyear eight.

The June meeting will be a garden party at the president's home.
