Food hampers and shoe boxes have been delivered to the Ferry Project thanks to students at Marshland High School.
A total of 24 food hampers of various sizes and designs were taken to Octavia View.
Students joined the delivery and were able to hear first-hand how all the donations would be used and the difference they had made.
More than 24 shoeboxes were collected on behalf of Refuge containing toiletries and toys for women and children at Christmas.
A school spokesman said: βAt Marshland High school we work very hard to ensure that our students understand the importance of looking out for others and help them to see that it is easy to make a difference if we all work together for a common goal.β
