Rod Doulton from the foodbank delivered assemblies to all year groups to tell them about the invaluable work that the Trussell Trust do especially at this time of year.

Pupils were invited to bring donations for the foodbank and leave them under the college Christmas tree. The appeal was also supported by MMUK who are business partners of the College.

“Wow, wow, wow” said Alison Doulton when the presentation was made this week “we are overwhelmed and are so grateful for the extraordinary generosity of every one at Cromwell.”

Over the years pupils at Cromwell have donated an amazing 1000 kg of food to the foodbank.

“We are very proud of this achievement and thank everyone for their support,” said a spokesman for the college.
