A car ended up in a Fenland drain after a two-vehicle collision near Outwell.

The blue Peugeot 206 collided with a silver Vauxhall Astra on February 16 at about 4.45pm, with the Peugeot ending up in the Well Creek River about 100 yards from the Middle Level Drain, which crosses the A1122.

The male driver of the Peugeot sustained a head injury and the driver of the Astra, a female, suffered shock and whiplash.
