Disability charity Papworth Trust has a fun filled summer planned for young people with additional needs and their siblings in Wisbech.

The Trust runs youth clubs and holiday clubs across the East of England called Fun United which give young people the opportunity to have fun and make friends. Activities in Huntingdon, Wisbech and Peterborough this summer will include cooking, urban art, dancing, Wii games, and sport.

The clubs are suitable for young people aged eight and over. Sessions cost £5 per day and run from 10am to 3pm.

Papworth Trust has been running holiday clubs since 2001. One teenager’s mum Gillian Fitzgerald said: “As parents it was lovely to leave our children in pleasant, welcoming surroundings confident that they would enjoy their day. It was wonderful to see the newly found confidence and skills they had acquired in such a short space of time.”

Wisbech holiday club runs on Tuesdays and Fridays from July 29 to August 22 at the Queen Mary Centre, Queens Road, Wisbech. To book or for more information call or text 07585 232 501 or email info@papworthtrust.org.uk.

Disability charity Papworth Trust supports people to have equality, choice and independence in their lives. Each year the trust works with more than 20,000 people through a range of services, including support with care, leisure activities and practical help around the home.
