THE monthly meeting of the Wisbech Circuit Men's Supper Club was held on Friday in St James Methodist Church.
A meal was organised by Graham Beeken and prepared, cooked and served by Mr Beeken, Wally Horspole, David Fairbrother, Neville Butler, Michael Smalley, Martin Smith, Bob Dowe, Harry Wood, Colin Thompson, Roger Dack, Alan Sherfield, Alan Whiteman and David Askew.
A talk was given by Bill Morris from Little Downham on 78rpm records and some were played, with members invited to guess the song and artist. Thanks were expressed by the RevLeslie Stoker, chairman.
Sunday services
ST James, 10.30am all-age worship with the Rev Den Hague, 6.30pm with the Rev Peter Dewdeney.
