VILLAGERS turned out in force to air their views on village life and catch up with the results of a village survey at an open day in Christchurch Memorial Hall on Saturday organised by the Christchurch Action Team.
Cambridgeshire police were in attendance all day. The village is now policed from Wisbech and parishioners had the opportunity to voice their concerns about the recent spate of crime in the area.
Also in attendance were Fenland Citizen's Advice Bureau, Surestart, Skill for Life, Townley School and Pre School, St. John Ambulance, Fenland Links and Cambridgeshire Acre.
Councillor Mac Cotterell, of Fenland District Council, carried out the draw and Christchurch Woman's Institute organised refreshments.
Pictured are the helpers who manned the display stands during the open day.
