Nearly 100 Sutton residents were reminded of this summer’s village feast celebrations when they attended an exhibition of photographs held in the Glebe Hall on Saturday September 28.

As well taking a look at a variety of mounted photographs - which included stunning pictures of a fly past by a Lancaster bomber - visitors were able to watch two slide-shows running throughout the afternoon.

Most of the photos on show had been taken by village photographer Ian Stacey. Orders were taken for the photos and for the illustrated map of the village that has been reprinted. A display of memorabilia from previous Sutton Feast weeks was also on show.

After the exhibition closed, the Sutton Feast committee held its AGM, and a number of suggestions were made for new events to be included in next year’s programme.
