The make A Wish Foundation has benefitted to the tune of £74.46 thanks to One Stop Stores at Walsoken which held a guess the weight of the sweets in the jar competition.
The weight was verified by Matthew Allen of Gagen Butchers in Walsoken, who kept it a closely guarded secret, until it was won by Vick Plowman who guessed 1.925kg - just 2gs away from the actual figure of 1.923kg.
Trish Hays, store manager, asked staff to nominate a charity and customer assistant Charlie Jones chose the Make-a-Wish Foundation after one of her young relatives was supported by the charity.
