TWO guests attending a fund raising charity dinner discovered the upside of holding the event in their local tandoori restaurant.
For when the couple rang organisers to say they were unable, at the last minute, to attend, the solution was quite simple.
The restaurant delivered their dinner, steaming hot, direct to their home, and so helping to boost proceeds for the charity.
The event was staged by the PTFA for Alderman Jacobs County Primary School in Whittlesy who held the curry night at the Sonargaonon restaurant.
Organisers said the evening was a success and raised £190 for school funds.
