A TALENTED teenage performer graced the stage alongside celebrity John Barrowman at an event to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Natalie Whitehead, 19, of Wisbech Road, March, was picked after auditions to perform as a dancer in the We Will Rock You performance at the ‘Rock Raiser’ event hosted by Barclays in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

The evening, compered by the Scottish-American media star who has played lead roles in various West End musicals and appeared on US TV hit Desperate housewives, raised almost 250,000 for the children’s hospital.

The talented teenager has just finished a three-year course in performing arts at Stageworks in Buckden, near Huntingdon. She will now study for three more years at Liverpool Theatre School.

The teenager’s interest in dance came from performing in Lisa Dickinson’s Dance Mania group.
