March Rotary Club welcomed more than 40 visitors from other local Rotary organisations to enjoy a meal followed by a guest speaker.
Rotarian Norman Davis, from Wisbech, spoke about teaching in the Western Provinces during the four years he spent in Kenya from 1967.
Mr Davis gave a fascinating insight into the local customs after visiting under an International Aid Scheme to work at a girls school containing nearly 300 teenage pupils.
The Rotary Club meets at 7pm on Monday’s at The Conservative Club, Creek Road, March, and new members are welcome.
