A Cambs Times reader has submitted a picture of a group of men who would have led the resistance had the Germans invaded during the Second World War.
The group shot is of the March Railway Locomotive Home Guard (1940-45).
The reader says: “I remember the Home Guard marching along Station Road armed only with bayonets.
“Eventually they held rifle practices at the rifle range between March and Coldham.”
