Tangled Up hair salon in High Street, March, found ablaze - it took Cambs Fire nearly three hours to put out the flames

Tangled Up hair salon at 103 High Street, March, was found ablaze by police overnight.

In the early hours of today officers on patrol came across a building fire at a hair salon in March. Cambs Fire were called and attended the scene. Inquiries are still ongoing. Fenland Police tweeted: “In the early hours of today officers on patrol came across a building fire in March and Cambs Fire were called and attended the scene. Inquiries are still ongoing.”

A police spokesman said: “We were called at about 3.30am this morning (Thursday January 11) with reports of a fire at a salon in High Street, March.

“It is believed this was not a deliberate fire. No reports of any injuries.”

The path outside the shop has since been cordoned off. The salon marked its four year anniversary on January 2.
