Between March 27 2014 and February 19 2015, tasers were deployed against people who were known or suspected of having mental health issues, or while they were being detained under the Mental Health Act.
Eight of the nine taser deployments took place in public places or in homes, against people ranging from an 18 year-old women to a 70 year-old man.
In the other deployment, a 19 year-old man was tasered at a police station.
