Tash gone in a flash: March Lions get their shavers out for charity

WHILE thousands of men were growing moustaches for charity - two members of March Lions were raising money by shaving theirs off.

‘Movember’ saw men from across the country sprout facial hair last month to raise awareness for men’s health and raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity.

But Lions members Ian Groome and Derek Rutter bucked the trend when they raised more than 250 for Everyman Testicular Cancer - by saying goodbye to their tashes.

Mr Groome had sported a moustache since his teens and said his “top lip had not seen the light of day for many years”. Mr Rutter had grown one especially for the event.
