A TEA and Cake Day is being held at Poppies Cafe, DJs Garden Centre in Chatteris, in memory of Mary Mullis who previously ran it with her sister, Jean.
Mary and Jean ran the cafe, then known as Bluebells, for more than 10 years. Sadly, Mary died in July and the special event will raise funds for Macmillan Cancer support in her memory.
The Tea and Cake Day will run from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Thursday September 30. If you can’t make it on the day then drop into the cafe any day that week and leave a donation with Tracy or Cindy.
