FOURTEEN girls from Neale Wade Community College have taken part in the Race for Life at Peterborough.
Teacher Janice Holdich said: "The girls are all aged between 13 and 15 and they chose to run because they have all been affected in some way by cancer.
"So far we’ve raised around 400. I and Mrs Angela Mayes were the two teachers involved. This was the first time we entered a Neale Wade team and after this year’s success we are sure next year we’ll run again.
"We ran in the dark after the event was rescheduled from summer!"
