THE February meeting took the form of a workshop under the guidance of guest demonstrator Emma Flowers, who began by constructing a beautiful basket of spring flowers.
It was then the turn of members to create their own basket arrangement from an abundance of flowers and foliage, and soon the room was filled with the scent and sight of lovely baskets of spring flowers of which members could be proud. Tea, coffee and biscuits were supplied and served by Sue Akin and Phyllis Readshaw.
The flower club annual dinner date was held at the Barn Terrington St John, with about 40 members attending. Thanks to Diane Dowty for organising the event
