A terrorist crackdown has been launched in Cambridgeshire with the focus on firearms and explosives as part of Counter Terrorism Awareness Week.
Cambridgeshire Police officers are being given guidance on new legislation around the concentration and quantities of chemicals which members of the public are allowed to buy or possess.
The guidance is being given to forces across the region who have just completed firearms amnesties allowing people to hand in weapons to reduce the chance of them falling into the hands of extremists.
As part of the awareness week members of the public are being urged to be vigilant and look out for anything suspicious.
