TESCO provided a 500 boost to Fenland Association for Community Transport’s hopes of buying a new minibus.

The supermarket giant’s March store presented the cheque to one of the group’s drivers, Charlie Jenkins, outside the Hostmoor Avenue store today.

FACT operates as a not-for-profit organisation serving Fenland people who have difficulties using conventional modes of transport. The groups offers dial-a-ride, group hire and dial-a-car services.

Although many elderly and disabled people make up the majority of FACT’s users the group serves countless youth groups across the district.
