AS chairman of the March Summer Festival Committee, I’d like to thank everyone involved in making this year’s summer festival a success and for keeping the show going through the rain on Sunday.
Specifically, I would like to thank the committee who put in many hours of work planning and organising this event, the enthusiastic participants and the sponsors who help to maintain the festival as a free event.
Also, thanks to the volunteers who helped out in any capacity over the weekend itself, police for all their efforts and of course all those who came to the event over the three days.
