ON behalf of Churches Together in March, a sincere thank you to all those who have helped in any way towards the Shoebox Appeal.
On Saturday 352 boxes were collected from Trinity Church, March, on the first stage of their journey to Swaziland. A total of �450 was also raised through donations, coffee and sales stalls which goes towards transportation costs.
Special mention should be made of one enterprising family from Trinity who covered and filled 60 boxes. In order to reach their target, hours were spent in baking and selling home-made cakes so they could buy items for the shoeboxes.
Thank you to everyone who has helped to make this Christmas special for disadvantaged children.
