Passers-by gasped with amazement as Christmas nearly fell by the wayside in the Fens today!
Rubber necking motorists slowed for a glimpse of this lorry pulled up near the Gaul Road entrance on the A141 March by pass after experiencing a little seasonal difficulty.
Dozens of Christmas trees bound up and ready for the retail market were en route through the Fens when the driver felt unexpected movement.
Safely pulling to one side, the driver realised he was in danger of over turning and could only watch helplessly as part of his load wobbled precariously over the side.
