Teams from the four houses battled for top spot in the annual trial of strength at Wisbech Grammar School.
The whole school turned out to watch as mixed teams from Clarkson, Peckover, Holmes and Sparks took part in a fearsome tug of war contest.
Sparks claimed the honours and bragging rights until next year’s competition.
