A BRAZEN thief threatened staff at a Wisbech bingo hall before making off with a sum of money- thought to be around �500. .
A Cambridgeshire police spokesman said: “We were called to Winners Bingo, in Blackfriars Road, Wisbech, at just before 6.20pm on Sunday to reports that the venue had been robbed.
“A man had walked in a threatened staff before making off with cash from the till. He was described as white, in his early 30s, tall and thin with a shaved head. He wore a white top with horizontal lines, jeans and white trainers.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.”
The club has been unavailable for comment. One reader phoned to say the manager and some staff were on stage at the time as a nationwide link game was being played.
