A key part of a fairground ride was stolen from a car park in March on Saturday night.
A blue steel runner from the Waltzer Fair ride was stolen from City Road car park. Without it, the ride can’t operate.
PCSO Dawn Rae, posting on Facebook page Policing March and Chatteris, said: “Last night (Saturday) a blue steel runner from the Waltzer Fair ride was stolen from City Road Car Park. The ride cannot operate without it.
“If any body has seen it dumped around the town or knows anything about the theft, can they please call 101.
“We will have some very unhappy children in town if we can’t find it.”
