ONE Thomas Clarkson Academy pupil will get to wear the school’s new rugby shirt in front of more than 80,000 people at Twickenham on Sunday.
The Wisbech academy was one of 100 schools invited by Canterbury, England Rugby’s Official Kit Partner, to design their own shirt.
The pupils drawings were turned into designs which will be presented to the school before England’s Six Nations game with Italy.
One pupil will be chosen to show off the specially designed rugby shirt on the pitch.
Chris Stephenson, CEO of Canterbury said: “The kit design workshops were incredible, the pupils were creative, imaginative and keen to understand and learn about the values of rugby and the thought process behind a shirt design.”
