ABOUT �500 was raised for Thomas Eaton Primary School in Wimblington at its annual summer fayre.
A number of pupils sold items on stalls, there were various raffles a number of people tried their hand at apple bobbing and then sweet bobbing in a bowl of sherbet,
There was also a tin can alley - with pictures of the teachers stuck onto the cans.
The event was organised by the parent and teacher association to raise money for school funds.
Louise Fryett, chairman of the PTA, said: “We were pleased with how the day went, considering the heat everybody had a good time and enjoyed themselves.”
