Festive firefighters have raised nearly £800 for charity with their festive float through the village.

The annual festive float in Thorney raised its cash for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Thorney’s Watch Commander Colin Bartlett said: “Our annual festive float seemed a hit again this year with families and we appreciate all their donations to this worthwhile charity.”

The station is recruiting on-call firefighters. If you live within five minutes of the station and want moroe information pop along drill night, Tuesdays, between 7pm and 9pm.
