Three arrests in connection with alleged sexual assault on teenager in Chatteris

THREE men were arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a teenage girl in Chatteris.

“Police are investigating an allegation of sexual assault against a teenage girl that was reported to have taken place in a disused building in King Edward Road, Chatteris, at about 7.20pm Sunday,” said a police spokesman.

“Three men, two aged 21 and one 19, have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail to return to Huntingdon Police Station on June 13.”

The victim was with two teenage friends in Chatteris before the alleged assault took place.
