THREE Chatteris Rotarians braced the cold weather as they cycled the scenic route from Chatteris to Witchford last Wednesday, raising more than £500 for charity.
Instead of travelling down the A42, president Roger Peacock, Donald Ashmore and Andrew Weedon cycled along minor paths and bridle ways, extending the ‘normal’ journey from 9.4 miles to 18.7 miles.
The funds raised will be put towards buying top quality sports wheelchairs which are designed to give disabled people the opportunity to become disabled athletes.
